“เคทีซี” หรือ บริษัท บัตรกรุงไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) แจ้งว่าเคทีซีได้รับการประเมิน SET ESG Rating ระดับเรตติ้งสูงสุด AAA ในกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงิน และเป็นสมาชิกของดัชนี SETTHSI เป็นปีที่ 3 ติดต่อกัน ซึ่งสะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาองค์กรให้เติบโตอย่างแข็งแกร่งและยั่งยืน พร้อมรับการเปลี่ยนแปลง และให้ความสำคัญกับการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้มีส่วนได้เสียทุกภาคส่วน โดยเคทีซีจะมุ่งพัฒนาการดำเนินงานด้านความยั่งยืนในทุกมิติ โดยคำนึงถึงสิ่งแวดล้อม มีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม และมีการบริหารงานตามหลักบรรษัทภิบาลที่ดี (Environmental, Social and Governance: ESG) เพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่นต่อนักลงทุนต่อไปทั้งนี้ ในปี 2566 ตลาดหลักทรัพย์ฯ ได้ยกระดับการประกาศผลประเมินหุ้นยั่งยืน (SET ESG Ratings) ในรูปแบบของการจัดเรตติ้งโดยแบ่งเป็น 4 ระดับ คือ AAA, AA, A และ BBB โดยคัดเลือกบริษัทจดทะเบียนที่มีคะแนนจากการตอบแบบประเมินความยั่งยืนผ่าน 50% ในแต่ละมิติ และผ่านเกณฑ์คุณสมบัติตามที่ตลาดหลักทรัพย์ฯ กำหนด เช่น มีผลกำไรสุทธิ 3 ใน 5 ปีย้อนหลัง ไม่เป็นบริษัทที่ถูกกล่าวโทษหรือได้รับการตัดสินความผิดจากหน่วยงานทางการ เป็นต้น โดยตลาดหลักทรัพย์ฯ จะนำผลประเมินหุ้นยั่งยืน SET ESG Ratings ไปใช้เป็นเกณฑ์ในการคัดเลือกสมาชิกในดัชนี SETESG เพื่อส่งเสริมการลงทุนอย่างยั่งยืน และเพื่อช่วยให้ผู้ลงทุน นักวิเคราะห์การลงทุนและผู้จัดการกองทุน มีข้อมูลใช้ประกอบการวิเคราะห์และตัดสินใจลงทุนได้อย่างมีคุณภาพมากขึ้น
KTC Wins ‘AAA’ for ESG Ratings

“KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited revealed, KTC has been selected to be on the list of Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) for the 6th consecutive year by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. In 2023, we are delighted to announce that KTC has been assessed according to SET ESG Ratings for listed sustainable stocks, achieving the highest rating level, AAA, in the financial business group. This reflects our commitment to developing the organization to grow strongly and sustainably, being ready to handle social and environmental changes, and attaching importance to the participation of all stakeholders. KTC will focus on developing sustainability operations in every dimension, whether it be Governance, Economics, Environment, and Social (ESG), to create interest for investors and increase the opportunity to access more funding sources.
The Stock Exchange has elevated the announcement of sustainable stock assessment results (SET ESG Ratings) in the form of ratings divided into 4 levels: AAA, AA, A, and BBB. The selection of listed companies is based on scores from sustainability assessment responses. Each company must pass 50% in each dimension (Governance, Economics, Environment, and Social), as well as meet the qualification criteria set by the Stock Exchange. These criteria include having achieved net profits in at least 3 out of the past 5 years and not being a company that has been accused or found guilty by an official agency, among other factors. The results of the SET ESG Ratings assessment of sustainable stocks will serve as the criteria for selecting members of the SETESG index, aimed at promoting sustainable investment and providing Investment Analysts and Fund Managers with higher-quality information for analysis and investment decision-making.
