นางกอบกาญจน์ วัฒนวรางกูร (ที่ 2 จากขวา) ประธานมูลนิธิกสิกรไทย และ รศ.ดร.สุวิทย์ แซ่เตีย (ที่ 2 จากซ้าย) อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ร่วมลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมด้านการแปรรูป สกัดและผลิตสารสำคัญออกฤทธิ์ทางยาจากธรรมชาติ ซึ่งเป็นช่วงกลางน้ำของห่วงโซ่การพัฒนายาจากพืชยาใต้ป่าภายใต้โครงการน่านแซนด์บอกซ์ โดยพันธกิจครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผลตลอดจนสร้างมาตรฐานใหม่ของการผลิตจากพืชยาสู่สารสกัดสำคัญออกฤทธิ์ทางยามาตรฐานสูงระดับสากล เป็นการยกระดับคุณค่าและมูลค่าเพื่อสร้างรายได้ให้เกษตรกรควบคู่ไปกับการฟื้นคืนป่าต้นน้ำน่าน อันเป็นทรัพยากรที่มีค่าเป็นป่าต้นน้ำอันดับ 1 ของประเทศ โดยมี ดร.อดิศวร์ หลายชูไทย (ขวา) กรรมการและผู้จัดการมูลนิธิกสิกรไทย และ ดร.กัญญวิมว์ กีรติกร (ซ้าย) รักษาการแทนรองอธิการบดีอาวุโสฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ร่วมเป็นสักขีพยาน ณ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย อาคารราษฎร์บูรณะ เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้
Kasikornthai Foundation joins hands with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in the development of technology and innovation for the processing, extraction and production of medicines from medicinal plants grown under the forest canopy as part of the Nan Sandbox project, with the aim of bolstering farm income and sustainably restoring Nan’s pristine headwater forests.
Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, (2nd from the right), Chairperson, KASIKORNTHAI FOUNDATION, and Assoc. Prof. Dr.Suvit Seatia, (2nd from the left), President, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the development of technology and innovation for the processing, extraction and production of natural active pharmaceutical ingredients (NAPIs) which are in the midstream value chain of the development of medicines from medicinal plants grown under the forest canopy as part of the Nan Sandbox project. Aside from enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness, as well as upgrading the production of medicinal plants to the extraction of NAPIs on par with international standards, the MoU is aimed at promoting the benefits and value of medicinal plants in order to increase farm income and restore Nan’s pristine headwater forests, which are among the country’s most valuable natural resources and important headwater forests.
