นายสรชัช ศรีลมูล ผู้บริหารสูงสุดฝ่ายการตลาดบัตรเครดิต “เคทีซี” หรือ บริษัท   บัตรกรุงไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) กล่าวว่า ปัจจุบันคนไทยกลับมาใช้ชีวิตเป็นปกติหลังผ่านช่วงสถานการณ์โควิด – 19 โดยช่วงปลายปีถือเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ยอดรวมการใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตรเครดิตเคทีซีในทุกหมวดการใช้จ่ายไม่ว่าจะเป็น ร้านอาหาร ช้อปปิ้ง หรือ ท่องเที่ยว ปรับตัวสูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยยะสำคัญ ประกอบกับการที่รัฐบาลได้ประกาศวันหยุดพิเศษช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่ติดต่อกัน 4 วัน ตั้งแต่วันที่ 29 ธันวาคม 2566 – วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2567 จึงเป็นโอกาสที่ทำให้คนไทยวางแผนเดินทางท่องเที่ยวทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศมากยิ่งขึ้น ส่งผลต่อยอดรวมการใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตรฯ ของสมาชิกที่ คิง เพาเวอร์ ปรับตัวสูงขึ้น โดยตั้งแต่เดือน มกราคม 2566 – ตุลาคม 2566 ยอดรวมการใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตรเครดิตเคทีซีขยายตัวเพิ่มขึ้นถึง 80% เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับช่วงเดียวกันของปี 2565

เคทีซีจึงเดินหน้าทำธุรกิจแบบสร้างคุณค่าร่วม (Co-Creating Value) กับพันธมิตร เพื่อมอบสิทธิประโยชน์ให้แก่สมาชิก โดยได้เตรียมโปรโมชันร่วมกับ คิง เพาเวอร์ เพื่อตอบรับกระแสการท่องเที่ยวช่วงปลายปี ดังนี้

KTC Enhances Members’ Year-end Happiness and Shopping

Experience at King Power with More Options to Lighten the Load

KTC brings year-end happiness, providing extra options for members to ease their shopping burdens at King Power.  Members enjoy options to choose from 0% interest installments for 10 months, redeem for up to 18% cashback, or earn up to 7x KTC points with a KTC credit card.  These privileges were introduced in response to a year-end travel trend, where KTC observed an 80% increase in spending with KTC credit cards at King Power.

Mr. Sorachach Srilamul, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, stated that currently, Thai people have returned to normal life after COVID-19.  Year-end is the period in which the total KTC credit card spending across all spending categories, whether it’s Restaurants, Shopping, or Tourism, undergo significant changes.  Additionally, with the government announcing a special New Year festival period spanning four consecutive days from December 29, 2023, to January 1, 2024, more Thai people are planning to travel, both domestically and abroad, leading to an increase in members’ total spending at King Power.  From January 2023 to October 2023, the total KTC credit card spending has expanded by 80% year-over-year.

KTC is furthering its business through Co-Creating Value with partners to provide special privileges to its members.  We have collaborated with King Power to prepare the following promotions in response to year-end tourism trends:
