Consequently, the total KTC credit card spending across all exercise-related categories grew by 20% in 2023. The surge is attributed to the government’s introduction of the ‘Easy E-Receipt’ scheme, granting tax deduction privileges to individual taxpayers, excluding general partnerships or non-juristic groups. Under this measure, expenses incurred to purchase products and services can be tax-deductible based on the actual payment amount, not exceeding 50,000 baht.
