นายเค็น โรเบิร์ต เสวนสัน กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ออร์บิกซ์ คัสโทเดียน จำกัด เปิดเผยว่า ประเทศไทยกำลังก้าวสู่การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลที่มีความปลอดภัยและนวัตกรรมมากขึ้น ล่าสุดบริษัท ออร์บิกซ์ คัสโทเดียน จำกัด (orbix CUSTODIAN) ในเครือของบริษัท ยูนิต้า แคปิทัล จำกัด (Unita Capital) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทลูกในกลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินธนาคารกสิกรไทย ได้รับใบอนุญาตประกอบธุรกิจรับฝากสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล (Digital Asset Custodial Wallet Provider) รายแรกของไทย จากกระทรวงการคลัง ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของ ก.ล.ต. เมื่อวันที่ 13 กันยายน 2567 ที่ผ่านมา นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในระบบนิเวศสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลของประเทศไทย ในการเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมั่นและความปลอดภัยให้แก่ผู้ประกอบธุรกิจสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลและผู้ลงทุน ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลตามกฎระเบียบของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์ (ก.ล.ต.) และสำนักงานป้องกันและปราบปรามการฟอกเงิน (ปปง.)
ออร์บิกซ์ คัสโทเดียน ได้เดินหน้าพัฒนาระบบบริการอย่างต่อเนื่องเพื่อเตรียมเปิดให้บริการอย่างเป็นทางการในต้นปี 2568 ด้วยจุดเด่นของบริษัทเรื่องความเชี่ยวชาญด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน เทคโนโลยี และมาตรฐานความมั่นคงปลอดภัยทางไซเบอร์ (Cyber Security) รวมถึงการออกแบบระบบบริการที่สอดคล้องกับการใช้งานจริง ตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ประกอบธุรกิจสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลภายในประเทศได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และความพร้อมด้านผู้บริหารและทีมงานที่มากด้วยประสบการณ์ด้านสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล ที่ยึดหลักธรรมาภิบาลเป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการดำเนินธุรกิจ โดย orbix CUSTODIAN กำหนดกลยุทธ์การให้บริการที่สำคัญ 3 ด้าน ได้แก่
- ความปลอดภัยด้านการเข้ารหัสกุญแจ: ออร์บิกซ์ คัสโทเดียนให้ความสำคัญกับการรักษาความปลอดภัยของสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลของลูกค้าเป็นอันดับแรก โดยใช้เทคโนโลยี HSM (Hardware Security Module) ที่ได้รับมาตรฐาน FIP140-2 Level 4 ซึ่งเป็นระบบที่ได้รับการยอมรับ และเป็นระดับความปลอดภัยสูงสุดด้านการเข้ารหัสกุญแจตามมาตรฐานดังกล่าวโดยออกแบบมาให้สามารถตรวจจับและป้องกันการเข้าถึงกุญแจเข้ารหัสทางกายภาพจากผู้ไม่ประสงค์ดี นอกจากนี้ บริษัทได้ร่วมมือกับ IBM พัฒนาเทคโนโลยี เพื่อยกระดับความปลอดภัยของธุรกรรมโดยให้การดำเนินธุรกรรมทุกครั้งต้องได้รับการอนุมัติจากทั้งลูกค้าและออร์บิกซ์ คัสโทเดียน เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลของลูกค้ามีความมั่นคงปลอดภัย
- การตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของตลาดในทุกสภาวะ: ออร์บิกซ์ คัสโทเดียนมีความมุ่งมั่นในการตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าด้วยความยืดหยุ่นสูงและความสามารถในการตอบโจทย์ลูกค้าในมิติสำคัญ ได้แก่
