มูลนิธิมิตซูบิชิ อิเล็คทริคไทย และกลุ่มบริษัท Mitsubishi Electric ในประเทศไทย นำโดย นายฮิโระอากิ คอนโด้ รองประธานกรรมการ พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจากกลุ่มบริษัท Mitsubishi Electric ในประเทศไทย ร่วมนำถวายเงินสนับสนุนที่ได้จากการสมทบทุนจากพนักงานในกลุ่มบริษัทฯ เป็นจำนวน 290,000 บาท แด่ พระวชิรวรคุณ (เสริมพร ธมฺมวโร) ประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิประทีปเด็กไทย หลวงพ่อ วิริยังค์ สิรินฺธโร เพื่อสมทบทุนการสร้างศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กให้ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ทั่วประเทศไทย ตามวัตถุประสงค์หลักของ “โครงการประทีปเด็กไทย” ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 6 ณ วัดศรีรัตนธรรมาราม จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ
นายฮิโระอากิ คอนโด้ รองประธานกรรมการ มูลนิธิมิตซูบิชิ อิเล็คทริคไทย “ผมและพนักงานกลุ่มบริษัท Mitsubishi Electric ในประเทศไทย รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสนับสนุนโครงการประทีปเด็กไทยเพื่อสร้างศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 6 เราเชื่อว่าการศึกษาเป็นกุญแจสู่การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน และมูลนิธิมิตซูบิชิ อิเล็คทริคไทย ก็มีส่วนช่วยในการพัฒนาการศึกษาไทยมาโดยตลอดตั้งแต่เริ่มการก่อตั้ง ในปี พ.ศ. 2534 โดยมีแนวคิดภายใต้เป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ที่จะไม่ทิ้งคนไว้ข้างหลังนั้น เป็นสิ่งที่เราตระหนัก และมุ่งมั่นมาโดยตลอด ซึ่งผมหวังว่าความพยายามในการสนับสนุนครั้งนี้จะได้มีส่วนสร้างสิ่งดีๆ ให้กับนักเรียนแม้เพียงคนเดียวก็คุ้มค่า ความเอื้อเฟื้อเผื่อแผ่จากพนักงานทุกคนเป็นพลังบวกที่จะกระตุ้นให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพื่อสิ่งที่ดีกว่า ถือว่าเป็นอีกทางหนึ่งที่จะช่วยสร้างสันติสุขให้กับสังคม และโลกต่อไป”
โครงการประทีปเด็กไทยได้ถูกก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2518 โดย สมเด็จพระญาณวชิโรดม (หลวงพ่อวิริยังค์ สิรินฺธโร) อดีตเจ้าอาวาสวัดธรรมมงคล ซึ่งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อระดมทุนในการจัดสร้างศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กที่มีอายุ 2 – 6 ปี เพื่อช่วยเหลือให้เด็ก ๆ ได้รับโอกาสทางการศึกษา และได้รับการดูแลให้มีพัฒนาการที่ดีทั้งด้านร่างกาย จิตใจ อารมณ์ สังคม และสติปัญญาอย่างเหมาะสมตามช่วงวัย เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้เติบโตเป็นเยาวชนที่ดี และมีคุณค่าต่อสังคมไทย

Sponsor Prateep Dek Thai Project for 6th Consecutive Year
Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation and Mitsubishi Electric Group in Thailand, led by Mr. Hiroaki Kondo, Vice Chairmantogether with representatives from Mitsubishi Electric in Thailand donated a total of 290,000 Thai Baht to Phra Wachira Worakhun, Chairman of Prateep Dek Thai Foundation founded by Luangphor Viriyang Sirintharo. The sixth consecutive annual funding will contribute to the construction of Child Development Center across Thailand, a key mission of the Prateep Dek Thai Foundation. The presentation was recently held at the Wat Sri Rattana Thammaram temple, Samut Prakan province.
Mr. Hiroaki Kondo, Vice Chairman of the Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation, stated “I and all employees of the Mitsubishi Electric Group in Thailand are honored to contribute to the Prateep Dek Thai Project to build Child Development Center for the sixth consecutive year. We believe that education is key to sustainable development that is why Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation has been supporting Thai education since our founding in 1991. Our aim on sustainable development is to “Leave No One Behind” and is what we have been committed to doing all along. I hope that our support does contribute to positive changes and even if it were for just one child, it would be all worth it. The Prateep Dek Thai Foundation was established in 1975 by Somdej Phra Yana Vachirodom – better known as Luangphor Viriyang Sirintharo – the former abbot of Wat Thammamongkol. Its key mission is to raise fund to construct Child Development Center for children aged 2-6, supporting for their education and physical development. Supporting child development also contribute to subsequent development of the youth and society in Thailand.
