การเปิดตัว K PLUS Laos ครั้งนี้ นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของการขยายบริการของธนาคารกสิกรไทยไปสู่ต่างประเทศ เป็นไปตามวิสัยทัศน์ของธนาคารในการเป็นธนาคารแห่งภูมิภาค (Regional Banking) ที่มุ่งมั่นยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของลูกค้ารายบุคคลและธุรกิจ ด้วยนวัตกรรมทางการเงินดิจิทัล โดยธนาคารได้เล็งเห็นศักยภาพของประเทศสปป ลาว ในการส่งเสริมสังคมไร้เงินสด จึงได้บุกเบิกการให้บริการ แอปกระเป๋าเงินออนไลน์ (e-Wallet) ในสปป ลาว ตั้งแต่ปี 2561 เป็นต้นมา และนำไปสู่การเปิดตัว K PLUS Laos ในครั้งนี้
ซึ่งคาดว่าจะตอบสนองการใช้งานลูกค้าในท้องถิ่นเป็นอย่างดี ช่วยให้ทุกกิจกรรมทางการเงินเป็นเรื่องง่าย และสะดวกสบายมากยิ่งขึ้นของทุกคน ทั้งนี้ ปัจจุบันธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดให้บริการแอปพลิเคชัน K PLUS ในภูมิภาคอาเซียน 3 ประเทศ ได้แก่ ประเทศไทย เวียดนาม และสปป ลาว เป็นประเทศล่าสุด มียอดผู้ใช้งานทั่วภูมิภาครวมกันมากกว่า 21.8 ล้านคน
KBank unveils K PLUS Laos app, offering the ultimate digital financial experience in Lao PDR

The introduction of K PLUS Laos aims to deliver superior financial experiences to customers in Lao PDR with this all-in-one application that can comprehensively meet their needs for daily financial transactions, including payment, domestic funds transfer and withdrawal, as well as international funds transfer. The K PLUS Laos application boasts new features, such as bill payment and K eSavings. It was unveiled at the Crown Plaza Vientiane Hotel, Lao PDR, October 19, 2023.
The launch of K PLUS Laos is another impressive milestone of KBank’s service expansion abroad in line with KBank’s vision to be a “Regional Bank” that strives to improve the quality of life of retail and business customers through digital financial innovations. As KBank sees the capability of Lao PDR in promoting a cashless society, KBank pioneered the provision of e-wallet here in 2018. This has led to the launch of K PLUS Laos, which is expected to fully meet the needs of local customers, making financial transactions easier and more convenient for everyone. Presently, KBank offers the K PLUS application in three ASEAN countries, namely Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos, with a total of over 21.8 million users in the region.
